Test Procedure to Qualify a Coating for Acceptance by sti-P3® Specifications (T871-94)

The scope of the Test Procedure to Qualify a Coating for Acceptance by sti-P3® Specifications (T871-94) is to provide a performance based coating evaluation procedure for the approval of coatings which are:

1. A single coat, unfilled system for use on sti-P3® tanks
2.  Reinforced or filled coating system for use on sti-P3® tanks

The test procedure outlined shall be employed when a coating manufacturer seeks approval of a certain coating system for inclusion in the sti-P3® Specifications.
