The Standard for Repair of Shop-fabricated Aboveground Tanks for Storage of Flammable and Combustible Liquids (SP031) covers repair and modification of atmospheric-type shop-fabricated carbon and stainless steel tanks (ASTs). It applies to ASTs storing stable, flammable and combustible liquids with a specific gravity not greater than 1.0, operating at atmospheric pressure and temperatures between ambient temperature and 200°F.
