Join us for a case study on the Denver Water Board Foothills Water Treatment Plant Complex and discussion about why steel was the best material for the project.

This facility included a major water treatment plant, a hydroelectric power plant, and 3 major pipelines of 90", 108" and 126".  The case study will go over the details of the facility and some of the unique issues of such a large facility.  These include brittle fracture which required a change in AWWA C 200, shipping considerations, and manufacturing considerations for the size of pipe required.
